EmberDeck Security, Billing, and Trademark Notice

This page explains EmberDeck's security model, where charges can come from, and how we reference third-party trademarks.
EmberDeck is a software product created, operated, and wholly owned by MyMetrix LLC.

1. Security model (plain language)

  • EmberDeck signs you in with your Google account.
  • EmberDeck uses your account permissions to read data from Firebase and Google Cloud APIs.
  • What you can access depends on your own project permissions and account setup.
  • EmberDeck does not ask for your Google password.

For some features, EmberDeck may ask you to provide a separate read-only service account key. If you provide one:

  • you control it;
  • you can rotate or revoke it at any time; and
  • EmberDeck uses it only for the feature that requires it.

2. Data handling summary

  • EmberDeck is designed as a read-focused admin companion.
  • For normal project browsing, EmberDeck uses your signed-in Google access and project permissions.
  • EmberDeck does not grant itself automatic ownership/admin rights in your projects.
  • You can remove app access by signing out, revoking access in your Google account, or removing service account credentials you previously added.

3. Billing and possible fees

Using EmberDeck may cause standard Firebase or Google Cloud usage charges on your selected project.

Examples can include API calls for project metadata and service data reads (for example Firestore, Storage, Auth-related lookups, Monitoring calls, or other service endpoints used by enabled features).

Important:

  • EmberDeck does not create a separate EmberDeck platform usage fee inside your Google billing account.
  • Any cloud usage cost is billed by Google Cloud/Firebase under your project's own pricing plan.
  • You are responsible for your project's billing settings, quotas, and cost controls.

4. No affiliation statement

EmberDeck is an independent third-party developer tool.

EmberDeck, MyMetrix LLC, and this app are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Google LLC or Firebase.

5. Trademark notice

Google Cloud, Google, Firebase, Firestore, and related names/logos are trademarks of Google LLC or its affiliates.

Any third-party product names, logos, and brands mentioned by EmberDeck remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or integration context.

6. Security reporting

If you believe you found a security issue, contact:

Include:

  • steps to reproduce;
  • affected feature/screen;
  • screenshots or logs (without secrets); and
  • your contact email for follow-up.
