EmberDeck SMS Consent Proof

This page documents the EmberDeck SMS opt-in flow and consent language for messaging compliance review.

Business and brand:

  • Legal entity: MyMetrix LLC
  • App and sender brand: EmberDeck
  • Program name: EmberDeck SMS Alerts

Program purpose:

  • Transactional Service communications only (no marketing/promotional campaigns).
  • Message types include event results, event failure alerts, account/security notices, version or service-impact notices, and operational reminders.

Opt-In Flow (Call To Action)

  1. User signs in to the EmberDeck app.
  2. User goes to Settings > Notifications > SMS.
  3. User enters a valid US mobile number.
  4. User checks an unchecked consent box and taps Save SMS settings.
  5. EmberDeck sends a confirmation SMS.
  6. User must reply YES to complete enrollment (double opt-in).
  7. SMS delivery remains disabled until the YES confirmation is received.

Exact Consent Language

Displayed at opt-in:

I agree to receive recurring transactional SMS alerts from EmberDeck (event outcomes, account/security notices, version or service updates, and reminders). Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Enrollment and Message Examples

Enrollment confirmation:

EmberDeck: Reply YES to confirm SMS enrollment for account and event alerts. Msg frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Transactional example:

EmberDeck: Event [event_name] for project [project_id] failed at [time_utc]. Error: [error_code]. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Security example:

EmberDeck Security: New sign-in detected at [time_utc]. If this was not you, contact support@emberdeck.xyz. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Opt-Out and Help

  • End users can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
  • End users can request help by replying HELP.
  • Re-consent (after opt-out) requires new opt-in and confirmation (for example, START or YES, where required).
